★ Silent Night Silent Auction ★
SNSA (pronounced "Snaz-uh") is PE’s Christmas Extravaganza! It is a silent auction where we auction off awesome baskets donated by PE girls, people on campus, and the South Bend Community. We also auction off services such as amazing baking skills, piano lessons, commissioned art, or dinner dates! Not only is it a silent auction, but a Christmas celebration! We have all sorts of Christmassy events planned each year for people to enjoy, such as ornament making, free food and hot chocolate, and karaoke. All of the proceeds go to PE's signature charity, Hannah's House. This event usually takes place during the first week of December in the LaFortune Ballroom, and is open to everyone, from students, to faculty and staff and their families. Come celebrate the holidays with PE and join us at SNSA!
The event is run almost completely off of donations (from PE residents, their families, and the South Bend community) and volunteers from our dorm. Please consider helping out with this event! Closer to SNSA you'll get an email about how you can contribute to our merriest event of the year.

[email protected] Junior | Section 6B major: Neuroscience and Behavior minor: International Development Studies favorite PE event/tradition: SNSA of course! most excited about for my commission: I am excited to work with my fellow pyros to bring the Christmas cheer to the LaFun Ballroom for SNSA (PE's best signature event) yet again this year! Pyros are so talented, and I look forward to discovering the many ways in which they contribute their talents to this event. Most importantly, I am excited to support Hannah's House with the money raised from SNSA! |

[email protected] Junior | Section 6B majors: Economics and Global Affairs minor: Hesburgh Program in Public Service favorite PE event/tradition: My favorite PE tradition has to be section events. It is so nice to be able to get to know your RA in a relaxed setting and hang out with your friends in your section. It also a great way to get to know other pyros! And there is usually free food which is always a plus. most excited about for my commission: I'm really excited to be a part of PE's signature event! Signature events are a huge part of dorm culture at Notre Dame, and it is great to give back to the community that we live in. Silent Night Silent Auction is super fun and the commissioners did a great job last year, so we have a lot to work on for this year, but I am super excited to be able to help out and coordinate the event. |

This is my first year as a commissioner (and my last semester of dorm life 😭), so I will try my very best to make it a good night for not only PE, but other dorms as well! |
